System Engineer (m/w/d)

As a System Engineer (m/w/d), you will support our systems throughout the entire development cycle – from requirements analysis and design to integration and system tests, and up to verification. Together with the team, you will develop technical solutions, contribute your ideas, and take responsibility for demanding technical work packages. This way, you actively shape the development of innovative systems and contribute to the project's success with the team.

Responsibilities

• System design, evaluation, and determination of customer and system requirements
• Design of system and subsystem components and their interfaces
• Integration, commissioning, and testing at subsystem and system level
• Creation of development, product, and verification documents
• Taking over responsibility for work packages in a delegated work environment
• Technical management of work packages with internal and external subcontractors
• Customer support during order processing as well as during integration and acceptance
• Communication and coordination in interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Completed technical degree, e.g., in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in systems engineering or in the development of complex technical systems
• Confident handling of complex systems and the operational control of operational (test) facilities
• Confident handling of DOORS in requirements management
• Technical understanding in at least one of the areas of electronics, electrical assemblies, signal processing, hardware/software, or test design
• Experience in technical documentation and in the processing and coordination of work packages with internal and external partners
• Structured, solution-oriented, and interdisciplinary working style
• Fluent German and English language skills in speech and writing
• Willingness to travel occasionally
