About the Position

Location: Göteborg, Sweden

We are seeking HIL Integration Engineers with extensive experience in HIL tool development to join our global transformation. As a System Verification Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for developing our HIL lab, upgrading existing rigs, and preparing technical descriptions and specifications for future HIL rigs. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Troubleshooting errors/faults in the HIL
  • Supporting Verification engineers in using HILs effectively
  • Setting up automation test environments
  • Creating automatic HIL test templates
  • Supporting and educating other domains
  • Supporting HIL rigs connection with other test equipment, such as test cells and Box Trucks

We are looking for a result-oriented individual with a forward-thinking mindset. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the development of dSpace HIL laboratories and make decisions based on facts and engineering judgment. You should thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, as new challenges present new opportunities for development and learning. With a structured working method, you should be able to go from idea to implementation and solve problems without getting stuck in details. A balance between a theoretical and hands-on approach is essential, and you should be a team player who believes in the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechatronics or Electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 8 years of hands-on dSpace HIL lab development
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in Python, CANalyzer, and CANOE environment
  • Knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Automotive test/development experience
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
