Systemadministrator (M/W/D)

About the Position

Programmfabrik GmbH, located in the heart of Berlin, is the provider of the web-based software easydb and fylr. Our software is a flexible repository for media and associated relational structured metadata. As a Digital Asset Management, it is used in libraries, research, teaching, and public relations.

We use Docker, Debian, Apache, OpenSearch, and PostgreSQL on rented servers and our customers' servers, all of which we access remotely.

To support our customer servers and our own infrastructure, we are looking for reliable assistance:

Responsibilities

As a Systemadministrator, you will work closely with developers and project management, and you will manage the Programmfabrik and customer systems.

Requirements

• At least started studies in an IT-related field or similar qualifications
• Very good knowledge of Debian and Ubuntu Linux systems on the command line
• Knowledge in SSH, Webserver, Network Administration, NFS
• Initial experience in git, Docker, SQL
• A plus are skills in Shell-, Python-Programming and Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Kubernetes, Ansible
• Self-motivation and a high standard for the quality of your own work
• Documentation is part of your teamwork
