T24 Developer with Java

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior T24 Developer with Java expertise to join our Wealth Management Core Banking platform transformation project in Bengaluru, India.

In the context of the strategic project to transform the Wealth Management Core Banking platform, the IT team is growing. A Senior developer is required to work on projects requiring T24 experience and Java solutions. The objective will be to customize T24 product and to develop several key and critical interfaces around the core banking system.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently as part of an international multi-disciplinary team to drive the project to completion.
• Participate in the full development Agile lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, development, unit test, release, implementation, and post-production support.
• Provide production/L3 support for the delivered projects.
• Work with the Business Analyst and Solution architects to understand the business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in the application.
• Contribute/review the technical specifications.
• Responsible for managing & reporting technical risks.
• Control and maintain the quality of the development (norms & standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, code reviews).
• Prefer to have experience with L3 customization related to the Securities module.
• Work with L1/L2 support team in case of emergency production issues and provide support in fixing the production incidents.
• Provide guidance to team members.

Requirements

Must have

• Minimum 5 Years of strong T4 with Java solutions implementation experience is a MUST.
• Important to have experience of Temenos T24/Transact Software package customization.
• Hands-on experience with various Java / Web technologies and frameworks: Spring (Core, Security, MVC), JPA, REST API, JMS.
• And a combination of additional skills/experience in:
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Wildfly/Jboss
  • IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka
  • Cloud platform, say IBM Cloud, Keda, Prometheus
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL/MSSQL

Nice to have

• Experience with L3 customization in Securities module.
• Contributing to open source projects.
• NoSQL experience.
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture.
