Tableau Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team in Katowice, Poland. Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards for business stakeholders.
• Manage Tableau data sources, extracts, and refresh schedules.
• Participate in vendor transition and knowledge transfer activities.
• Support dashboard inventory reviews and dependency mapping with the outgoing vendor.
• Own KPI definitions, business logic documentation, and reporting standards.
• Conduct dashboard performance assessments.
• Manage permission structure migration and governance using group-based security models.
• Work closely with data engineering and business teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Utilize Tableau REST API for administration, automation, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
• Ensure reporting platform scalability, usability, performance, and security.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with Tableau in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience developing Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud environments.
• Experience working with Amazon Redshift or equivalent cloud-based data warehouse platforms.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience designing scalable and high-performing business intelligence solutions.
• Experience managing dashboard governance, permissions, and reporting standards.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and quickly gain ownership of existing reporting ecosystems.
• Hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of English and Polish.
• Openness to visit office once every month.
