About the Position

Tableau Developer/Administrator

We are looking for a Tableau Developer/Administrator with 2+ years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for managing Tableau Server and optimizing data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the Tableau Server with 2,000+ users.
• Improve, control, and optimize data extraction from the major data flow.
• Monitor and implement new functionality, including server upgrades.
• Work with business analysts to share Tableau development knowledge and implement best practices.
• Design, implement, and support robust, scalable solutions to enhance business analysis capabilities, identify gaps, and design processes to fill them.
• Collaborate with a broad forum of experts and stakeholders, including architects and engineers, to create high-quality deliverables.
• Be a technical curator and set querying methodologies across the analyst guild and product.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Tableau development and administration. Bonus points if you’ve implemented data processing systems (ETL).
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and optimizing them for performance.
• Proficiency in dimensional modeling and familiarity with DWH concepts.
• Experience in designing and implementing BI solutions (bonus points if it’s been in a consumer web company).
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, PIG, Presto, SPARK, SQOOP).
• Experience with Columnstore DBs (Redshift, Vertica).
• Experience with Python, SCALA, MS SQL Server, Tableau, and/or Amazon solutions.

We Offer

• Up to 3500$ salary.
• Remote work option in Sofia, Bulgaria.
