About the Position
Tagalog Voice Acting Specialist – AI Trainer
We are seeking a Tagalog Voice Acting Specialist for a freelance AI Trainer project. This role requires near-native proficiency in Tagalog and experience in voice acting.
Responsibilities
- Record short lines and paragraphs in your dominant language (various tones: friendly, neutral, authoritative).
- Participate in paired or group script readings with other Tagalog-speakers, typically short scripts of around 5 minutes.
- Follow direction and retake as needed for timing, emphasis, and clarity.
- Submit clean, well-labeled audio files on schedule.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Tagalog and strong, easy-to-understand speech.
- Silent recording environment (no background noise, echo, or hum).
- Crisp audio: a good microphone is a big plus (USB/XLR), stable setup, pop filter if possible.
- Ability to follow briefs and take notes on pronunciation or style.
- Must speak 2 languages well (preferably non-English).
- Must be native fluency in Tagalog and either 1 - equal proficiency in the other, 2 - near native in the other or 3 - working proficiency in the other.
Nice to Have
- Prior VO/voice acting, podcasting, or on-mic experience.
- Basic audio hygiene (steady levels, consistent mic distance).
We Offer
We offer a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
