We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist with hands-on experience in the games industry to support our growing team in Europe. This is not a traditional HR role. We are looking for someone who understands how gamedev works, knows where to find the right people, and can actively build a strong candidate pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive Sourcing & Headhunting

    • Actively search for candidates across platforms like LinkedIn, ArtStation, and industry communities
    • Reach out and engage with potential candidates directly
    • Build and maintain a high-quality talent pipeline for current and future roles
  • Recruitment Process Management

    • Manage candidates through our ATS (Teamtailor)
    • Review applications, portfolios, and profiles with an understanding of gamedev roles
    • Maintain clear and structured candidate communication
  • Screening & Interviews

    • Conduct initial screening calls in English
    • Evaluate candidates not only on skills, but also on mindset and communication
    • Assess cultural fit and readiness to work in a client-facing, remote environment
  • Collaboration

    • Work closely with founders and team leads to understand hiring needs
    • Align on candidate profiles, expectations, and hiring priorities
    • Continuously refine recruitment approach based on feedback

Requirements

  • Experience

    • Proven experience in recruitment within the games industry
    • Strong understanding of gamedev roles (especially art and technical positions)
    • Experience with proactive sourcing / headhunting
  • Tools & Process

    • Experience working with ATS systems (Teamtailor is a strong plus)
    • Ability to manage multiple candidates and roles in parallel
  • Communication

    • Excellent spoken and written English
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with candidates
  • Mindset

    • Proactive, independent, and well-organized
    • Good intuition when it comes to people and team fit
    • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience recruiting for outsourcing / co-development studios
  • Familiarity with art portfolios and basic quality assessment
  • Existing network within gamedev
