About the Position

Tanz- und Bewegungstherapeut (m/w/d)

Pilgerhaus Weinheim, with locations in the Rhein-Neckar region, aims to improve the daily lives of the people entrusted to us – through housing and care, educational offers, counseling, support in everyday life, or assistance in leisure activities.

With our offers, we accompany young people and their families through different phases of life. The Peter-Koch-Schule, SBBZ esent, promotes educational opportunities in close cooperation with youth welfare services. These include residential care and semi-residential offers for young people, intensive pedagogical offers, supported living for young adults, custody measures, outpatient services, daycare for children under 6 years, and various therapy and counseling offers.

To strengthen our multidisciplinary team at the Autismzentrum Kraichgau in Sinsheim, we are looking for:

Tanz- und Bewegungstherapeut (m/w/d)

With an employment scope of 12 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Movement therapy work with young people on the autism spectrum
• Counseling and support for those affected and their families
• Client-related documentation
• Participation in the interdisciplinary therapy concept
• Active interdisciplinary networking
• Instruction and supervision of interns

Requirements

• Training as an educational professional (educator, social pedagogue (m/w/d) or similar)
• Dance therapy training or further education
• Experience in working with children and adolescents
• Knowledge of autism spectrum desirable
• Independent work
• Creative work and participation in project offers
