Responsibilities
- Reviewing multi-country Corporate or Group Accounting processes including General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation, month-end processes, preparation of Management Packs, and Financial Statements as per US GAAP.
- Implementing process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls, and improving quality.
- End-to-end accounting experience including Group Accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and financial year closing process (in the power/energy sector preferred).
- Exposure to HealthCare / Med Tech / Pharma is preferred.
- Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of the client to ensure smooth closure of books, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Gaining a thorough understanding of business processes and operations adopted by the client to identify their requirements and ensure they are met through regular updates, schedules, and reports.
- Maintaining a dashboard to demonstrate the progress of activities and the status quo of multi-country engagements.
- Reviewing the progress dashboard of multi-country engagements and being part of review meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Fostering working relationships with the team and across departments.
- Managing additional project-related responsibilities as well as ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountants (CA or ACCA or CPA) with 3 years of experience or B.COM or M.COM or CA inter or MBA with overall 5 years of experience.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting.
- End-to-end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS), and US GAAP.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like Workday, SAP, MS Business Central, etc.
