Tax & Accounting Specialist

About the Position

Huawei Sweden, a global leader in ICT solutions, is seeking a Tax & Accounting Specialist to join our team in Stockholm. This role involves managing corporate tax affairs and accounting in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Tax:

• Handle the company's corporate tax affairs efficiently
• Complete and/or review all relevant tax calculations and filings (including VAT/CT/WHT)
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and requirements
• Monitor and maintain transfer pricing compliance across the business
• Support the CFO in managing tax risks, local accounting, and special applications to local authorities

Accounting:

• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors
• Review and analyze monthly and quarterly reports and accounting
• Keep track of changes in local accounting legislation to ensure accurate and timely report delivery
• Collaborate with team members in monthly and yearly closing, including annual reporting, auditing, rolling forecasting, and yearly budget

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a tax-related field
• 1-3 years of accounting or tax experience, with international tax experience mandatory
• Solid knowledge in IFRS, Sweden accounting standards, VAT, CIT, and transfer pricing
• Previous experience in an international working environment is preferred
• Well-structured, reliable, and capable of working independently and in a team
• Fluency in English
• Strong commitment, persistence, and self-driven attitude
• Availability on short notice is an advantage
