About the Position
Tax & Accounting Specialist (m/w/d)

Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry. To strengthen their Finance team at their location near Kaiserslautern, they are looking for an experienced Tax / Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) to join immediately.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in line with German GAAP (HGB)
- Support tax compliance activities including VAT returns, corporate tax, and international taxation topics
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Provide financial analysis and reports for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams
- Support process improvements and digitalization initiatives in Finance
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of HGB; IFRS experience is a plus
- Familiar with German tax law, VAT regulations, and international tax frameworks
- Solid command of German (must-have) and good English skills
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
