You can expect a varied field of tasks around capital companies, international tax issues, and the digitalization of our tax function – including the use of modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, and Claude.

Responsibilities

Tax Declarations and Balance Sheets: You will independently create tax calculations, tax balance sheets, and tax returns for our domestic companies – with a focus on capital companies.
Tax Advisory: As a contact person for tax issues, you will support our departments and subsidiaries and explain even complex matters in an understandable and practical way.
Tax Analysis: You will research and evaluate tax issues in income tax law as well as in payroll tax, VAT, and international tax law.
Audits: You will accompany tax audits, prepare relevant documents, and support communication with the tax authorities.
Process Optimization & Digitalization: You will identify optimization potentials in existing processes and actively drive the further development of our tax processes – especially in the area of digitalization and automation, for example, through the use of ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude.
Tax Compliance Management: You will work on the setup, maintenance, and continuous development of our Tax Compliance Management System (Tax CMS) and thus make an important contribution to the quality and future viability of our tax function.
Project Work: You will take on tax projects independently or be responsible for sub-projects and actively contribute your ideas.

Requirements

Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or Taxation or training as a Tax Advisor (m/w/d).
Initial professional experience in corporate taxes – ideally in a tax office or the tax department of a company.
Solid knowledge of income tax law as well as VAT and international tax law.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with DATEV is advantageous.
Analytical mindset and a structured, meticulous, and self-reliant working style.
Enjoyment of implementing tax issues in a practical and solution-oriented manner.
Interest in digitalization, automation, and the use of modern technologies in the tax sector.
Clear and target-group-appropriate communication skills in speech and writing (German at a proficient level, C2).
Team spirit, initiative, and willingness to take on responsibility.
