Tax Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 days remote

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually

Bonus: 5–15% bonus potential

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a respected public accounting firm known for quality, integrity, and exceptional client service. This position is ideal for a tax professional with strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to manage complex client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Estate, and Trust tax returns
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
• Assist clients with tax planning and financial planning
• Perform complex tax research and provide recommendations
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior and senior-level staff
• Follow up on completed projects and ongoing client needs
• Manage client accounts and build strong, long-term client relationships
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members
• Manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously

Requirements

• 7+ years of tax/public accounting experience
• CPA or EA required
• Strong technical tax and supervisory skills
• Experience managing client engagements and accounts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines
• Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
