About the Position

Team Lead Java Engineer, Remarketing (f/m/x)

We are seeking a Team Lead Java Engineer for our Remarketing department to lead a team in developing state-of-the-art software solutions using Java and Spring technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, solution design, development, quality assurance, shipping, monitoring, and maintenance of our service-oriented platform with currently 300+ RESTful microservices.
• Use your experience, hands-on and can-do attitudes to solve complex problems.
• Provide solutions and technical advice based on your solid technical experience.
• Take responsibility for the growth and development of your team and help everyone around you to get better every day.
• Hire world-class talent, lead by example, and mentor those around you to push boundaries and excel.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in leading a group of developers and taking responsibility for a team and software.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming.
• Good understanding of the JVM. Fluid in modern Java and knowledgeable about the language's possibilities, applying them in everyday and tricky scenarios.
• Passionate opinion on how RESTful APIs should ideally look like, but not too dogmatic to ignore the everyday needs of a business.
• At least 2 years of experience with Spring-based technologies and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, ideally Spring Cloud.
• Leverage software design principles and patterns in your product to technical specifications flows.
