Team Lead (m/f/d) SAP BTP & AI Architecture

About the Position

As Team Lead for SAP BTP & AI Architecture, you’ll play a key role in one of the most exciting and forward-looking fields in IT:

You’ll design modern SAP BTP architectures, cloud solutions, and AI use cases that directly impact our clients’ digital transformation. In this role, you’ll combine technological excellence with leadership, develop innovative SAP and AI solutions with real business impact, and have the freedom to drive new initiatives forward both strategically and operationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an SAP development team both technically and managerially, and create an environment that prioritizes quality, innovation, and collaboration.
• Design modern end-to-end architectures on the SAP Business Technology Platform with a focus on the cloud, integration, SAP BTP Services, and AI.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement AI and GenAI use cases in the SAP environment and support their implementation in innovative customer projects.
• Develop MVPs, prototypes, and proofs of concept for scalable SAP Cloud and AI solutions.
• Advise clients on future-proof SAP and AI roadmaps during workshops, architecture sessions, and pre-sales meetings.
• Work closely with clients, management, and interdisciplinary teams to actively further develop our SAP BTP and AI portfolio.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience working on SAP, cloud, architecture, or software projects, and ideally have already led teams in a technical or managerial capacity.
• Thorough understanding of the SAP Business Technology Platform and confidence in areas such as CAP, Integration Suite, extension development, SAP AI Core, or similar services.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or ABAP, and understanding of modern cloud architectures.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, enjoy working with customers, and inspire confidence with your self-assured demeanor.
• Fluency in German and English and passion for shaping the future in areas such as SAP BTP, AI, and digital transformation.
