• Du übernimmst die fachliche und disziplinarische Führung deines Teams – mit einem klaren People-First-Ansatz und dem Ziel, deine Mitarbeitenden individuell weiterzuentwickeln.
• Du bist zentrale:r Ansprechpartner:in für unsere Kunden, verstehst ihre Geschäftsmodelle und entwickelst robuste, skalierbare und sichere Backend- & Cloud-Lösungen. Dabei verantwortest du den Aufbau, die Weiterentwicklung und Skalierung moderner Backend-Architekturen auf Basis von Java, Kotlin und Spring Boot.
• Du konzipierst zukunftsfähige Cloud-native Architekturen (z. B. AWS, Azure oder GCP) und etablierst Best Practices rund um Microservices, Containerisierung, CI/CD und Infrastructure-as-Code und hast dabei aktuelle Technologietrends im Backend- und Cloudumfeld im Blick.
• Du steuerst interdisziplinäre Projektteams, stellst Architektur- und Code-Qualität sicher und triffst strategische Technologieentscheidungen in Modernisierungs- und Transformationsprojekten (z. B. Cloud-Migrationen oder Weiterentwicklung bestehender Systemlandschaften).
• Du bringst dich aktiv in Presales- und Akquise-Prozesse ein, entwickelst technische Zielbilder und überzeugst mit deiner Expertise in Kundenterminen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your team with a focus on individual growth and development.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients, understanding their business models and developing robust, scalable, and secure backend and cloud solutions.
• Design future-proof cloud-native architectures and establish best practices around microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Manage interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring architecture and code quality, and making strategic technology decisions in modernization and transformation projects.
• Actively participate in presales and acquisition processes, developing technical visions, and convincing clients with your expertise.

Requirements

• Personal Background: Completed studies in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik or comparable education and several years of experience in backend development, ideally in a project or consulting environment.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading teams technically and/or disciplinarily, fostering talent, and creating an environment where quality, ownership, and collaboration are natural.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot. Experience in designing microservice or modular cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Additionally, knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, as well as understanding of security, performance, scalability, and observability.
• Architectural Thinking: Ability to structure complex requirements, make sound architectural decisions, and translate technical visions into implementable solutions.
• Consulting & Communication Skills: Ability to combine technical and economic requirements with entrepreneurial thinking, quality demands, and innovation, convincing both clients and your team.
• AI Know-how: Work productively with coding agents, delegate tasks consciously, and ensure reliable results with verification signals in the process, critical comparison with the specification, and a step-by-step controlled expansion of autonomy.
• Travel: Willingness to travel and be flexible to advise clients nationwide on-site.
• Languages: Fluent in German and English.

Interview Process

• Who will be present at the personal interview and how will it proceed?
  • This depends a bit on the position and location. Usually, someone from the respective department and from recruiting takes part. In some cases, several departments are also involved. Don't worry, it won't be a tough assessment center. Our interview is mainly about a relaxed mutual getting to know each other. We want to learn something about you as a person – and at the same time give you the opportunity to get to know Exxeta better. We simply attach great importance to a harmonious and open cooperation, after all, we will spend a lot of time together. After our conversation, we are hopefully both sure that it fits between us.
