About the Position
We are seeking a Team Leader for a technical assistance assignment in Côte d'Ivoire focused on improving energy efficiency in public infrastructure and supporting institutional capacity.
Responsibilities
The Team Leader will lead and coordinate the implementation of the assignment, serving as the primary interface with the client, financing partner, and key project stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Managing projects involving technical, institutional, administrative, and financial aspects.
- Liaising with public authorities, clients, contractors, consultants, and technical and financial partners.
- Monitoring deadlines, the quality of deliverables, and the overall performance of the project.
- Integrating technical, administrative, financial, environmental, and social considerations into the overall management of the project.
Requirements

Specific experience:
- Proven experience in at least 3 similar assignments as Mission Leader, Senior Coordinator, Senior Project Manager, or Team Leader on projects relating to infrastructure, energy, street lighting, public buildings, community facilities, or development.
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in managing projects involving technical, institutional, administrative, and financial aspects.
- Experience in liaising with public authorities, clients, contractors, consultants, and technical and financial partners.
- Experience on projects funded by donors would be a major asset.
- Good knowledge of project monitoring, reporting, and mission governance procedures would also be a significant advantage.

- Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Ability to structure a complex mission and steer the work towards the expected results.
- Strong strategic analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mediate, prioritize, and make decisions in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to represent the Consultant effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong ability to monitor deadlines, the quality of deliverables, and the overall performance of the project.
- Ability to integrate technical, administrative, financial, environmental, and social considerations into the overall management of the project.
- Proficiency in standard office software and, preferably, project management tools.
Qualifications
- A university degree (minimum 5 years of higher education) in engineering, project management, energy, infrastructure, civil engineering, electrical engineering, economics, management, public administration, or any other field deemed equivalent in view of the nature of the assignment.
