Tech Stack
Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
Our client, a global leader in the development, integration, and implementation of advanced physical and cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT solutions, is now looking for an experienced Team Leader. This role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and offers a hybrid work model (office and remote).
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for a dedicated squad of three developers. This is a "player-coach" role: you will spend approximately 60-70% of your time on high-level architecture and coding, and 30-40% on people management, mentorship, and sprint planning. You will be the primary point of contact for your team's output and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- People Management: Lead and mentor a team of 3 developers. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, manage performance reviews, and foster a collaborative, high-growth environment.
- Technical Roadmap: Break down complex product requirements into manageable tasks. Own the sprint planning process and ensure the team meets delivery milestones.
- Architecture & Quality: Set the standard for clean, scalable code. Perform code reviews and make critical architectural decisions to ensure the product's long-term stability.
- Operational Alignment: Collaborate directly with the founder to ensure the development team's efforts align with the company's commercial goals and profit-sharing milestones.
- Local Culture Builder: As one of our key hires in Poland, you will help define the remote-work culture and communication standards for our Polish engineering hub.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a formal or informal leadership capacity (Lead Dev, Scrum Master, or Team Lead).
- Management Skills: Proven ability to manage a small team, handle conflicts, and clear technical blockers for others.
- Technical Stack: Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, MongoDB, React, and deep expertise in AI-centric development, backend systems, and modern cloud environments.
- Communication: Full professional proficiency in English (essential for coordination with the Israeli headquarters) and Polish.
- Soft Skills: A "founder's mentality"-you are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced startup setting.
We Offer
- Growth Opportunity: The chance to lead a new regional team within a global AI group.
- Autonomy: High degree of influence over technical choices and team processes.
- Stability & Innovation: The agility of a small startup backed by the resources of the CyberproAI group.
