Tech Leader

About the Position

Urban Motion is looking for a Tech Leader to lead and strengthen our technological development team in creating innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

As Tech Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Providing expert guidance, making high-level technical decisions, and following quality standards and best practices.
• Playing a crucial role in system architecture decisions and guiding the development team.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality and maintenance.
• Collaborating in the improvement and evolution of the system architecture.
• Guiding and training the development team members.
• Acting as an intermediary between technical and non-technical parties, ensuring clear communication between both.
• Solving technical challenges and providing guidance in problem-solving.
• Implementing and promoting innovative solutions that contribute to project success.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing complex systems, demonstrating mastery of technologies such as Node.js, Python, and databases.
• Strong familiarity with GitOps and a history of implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient development workflows.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Strapi.js, evidenced by a portfolio of projects and a comprehensive understanding of its main functionalities.
• In-depth knowledge of NoSQL database systems.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, vital for making critical technical decisions and solving complex challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to manage expectations correctly between technical and non-technical areas.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and SDKs, especially in constantly evolving environments.
• Ability to lead a team and mentor junior team members.
• Native Portuguese speaker with good communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in roles involving system architecture changes or system migrations.
• Residence in the Porto district.
