About the Position

Tech PO - Contract - Inside IR35

London, England, United Kingdom

Here at Mindera, we are building a world-class team and would love for you to join us. As a Senior Technical Product Owner (Tech PO) with a strong technical background, you will use your experience with Agile methodologies and your deep understanding of the SDLC to lead an ambitious, fast-paced team building the necessary AI tools to drive the company's business growth.

We are looking for a Tech PO who deeply understands how this modern AI technology works under the hood. Working closely with both development and business stakeholders, you will act as a crucial bridge between our engineers and the business domain. You will manage complex cross-stream dependencies, guarantee constant progress and alignment throughout the product lifecycle, and seamlessly translate requirements between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role requires 2 days a week onsite in central London.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor the team as an Agile advocate and continuous improvement processes to help them navigate fast-changing priorities.
  • Own and supervise the product backlog, story writing, project roadmap and dependencies across multiple active engineering streams with frequently changing scopes.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are up to date on the team's progress and deliverables status by maintaining an open and honest communication.
  • Provide clear reports with different specifications for different audiences.
  • Leverage your prior technical/coding experience to triage development and QA tickets based on business and customer priorities.
  • Oversee the technical integration points between different AI initiatives and coordinate effectively with external domain teams.
  • Translate the product features into well-defined product requirements including features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with development teams, software architects and business stakeholders to collaborate, set and communicate release schedules, dates and scope.
  • Ensuring your team’s delivery against the agreed plan.
  • Influencing the product vision definition and breaking it into smaller and incremental deliverables.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams.
  • Proven track record of management skills in areas such as conflict resolution, multi-reporting, roadmap planning and backlog management.
  • A software engineering background with the ability to comfortably speak in technical jargon and confidently navigate discussions around modern AI architectures, LLMs, API integrations, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment where workstream milestones are short and priority scopes can change.
  • Proven ability to analyse product use cases and requirements from all points of the SDLC, including the architecture, development, testing, and deployment phases (Note: you will not be required to provide architectural or coding solutions, but you must be comfortable participating in discussions about these topics and influencing and providing input from a business and client requirements standpoint).
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical people, and business value for technical teams.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams.
  • Experience with international projects and remote teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience managing complex technical and delivery dependencies between multiple internal engineering streams and external company teams.

We Offer

  • Day rate £600 per day inside IR35
