We are recruiting the following profile: Technical Account Manager (TAM) - Bases de Dados (Híbrido - Lisboa/Porto) (M/F)

Responsibilities

• Manage technical accounts and client relations for database solutions.
• Provide expertise in IBM Informix, SQL, and ITIL frameworks.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve client issues and optimize database performance.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and replication strategies are implemented.
• Script automation for operational and monitoring routines.

Requirements

• Mandatory Skills:

  • Professional experience in database administration, support, or operation.
  • Solid knowledge of IBM Informix: architecture, instances, databases, operational routines, monitoring, backups, and initial problem diagnosis.
  • Ability to interpret metrics, logs, and performance symptoms, and coordinate analysis with experts.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relevant operating systems for the environments in question.
  • Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and service level management, e.g., in an ITIL context.
  • Experience in managing technical client relationships or coordinating IT services.
  • Degree appropriate to the role and/or solid technical experience accumulated over years of related activity.
  • Technical English.

• Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of high availability, replication, and disaster recovery.
  • Scripting for automating operational and monitoring routines.
  • Knowledge of other database platforms present in the client: SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Database.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a managed services provider (MSP) or outsourcing context.
  • Other languages, depending on the clients.

Salary

€40k - €50k Gross/Year + Other Components/Benefits
