About the Position
We are seeking a Technical Compliance Analyst with 3+ years of experience to support complex platforms and distributed systems in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities

Regulatory-to-system translation:
- Analyse regulatory, licensing, certification, and internal control requirements and convert them into structured, actionable system requirements.
- Produce implementation-ready artifacts such as epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability: clause → requirement → control → enforcement point → evidence artifact → test scenario.
- Define scope boundaries and document scoping decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and compliance rationale.
- Support new market and license-entry activities by preparing technical and product documentation in alignment with other teams.

Implementation guidance:
- Specify required control behaviours for key platform systems, services, and operational workflows.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and product managers to shape backlog items and ensure compliance requirements are balanced with user experience, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to produce diagrams and models such as process maps, sequence flows, context diagrams, and C4-style views where needed.
- Define evidence-by-design requirements, including what logs, reports, configurations, exports, approvals, and audit trails must exist to demonstrate compliance.
- Ensure requirements documentation remains current, accurate, and audit-ready, including changes, decisions, and rationale.

Certification and audit readiness:
- Define compliance test scenarios, expected outcomes, and supporting datasets for certification, regulatory review, and audit readiness.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing walkthrough scripts, evidence pack indexes, requirement mappings, and response-ready artifacts.
- Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams on control expectations relating to monitoring signals, incident workflows, access evidence, change records, and DR/BCP evidence.
- Support interactions with testing laboratories, certification bodies, and regulators where technical clarification or supporting documentation is required.

Integration and change requirements:
- Specify compliance and control requirements for external integrations such as KYC, PSP, RGS, AML, fraud, and reporting providers.
- Define integration expectations covering logging, traceability, evidence intake, SLAs, change notifications, and operational dependencies.
- Help standardize reusable integration control requirements and “control contracts” for regulated vendors and critical third parties.
- Support scope management and change control by documenting impacts of requirement changes on compliance obligations, certification scope, and delivery plans.

Cross-functional collaboration:
- Build strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Legal.
- Act as a trusted partner to product and technical teams on how regulatory requirements apply to specific features, workflows, and jurisdictions.
- Communicate requirements, risks, trade-offs, and priorities clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help identify compliance gaps and support remediation planning for new features, market launches, and platform changes.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a Technical Compliance Analyst, Compliance Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, or similar role supporting complex platforms or distributed systems.
- Proven ability to analyse regulations, policies, or control requirements and convert them into buildable specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, functional requirements, and supporting documentation.
- Experience working on complex transactional systems and cross-system processes.
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance-related stakeholders.
- Comfortable creating clear documentation and visual artefacts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting external audits, certification programs, testing bodies, or regulated market launches.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Will be plus
- Experience in iGaming, sports betting, payments, banking, fintech, marketplaces, healthcare, or other regulated platforms.
- Familiarity with iGaming technical and regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Exposure to payments and fintech controls, such as funds flows, reconciliation, chargebacks, regulated reporting, and integration controls.
- Familiarity with control frameworks and standards such as GLI-19, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA, EMI, PSD2, or equivalent.
- Experience working with regulatory reporting, system integrations, and requirements gathering across multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code (OPA or similar).
- Experience with ledger concepts, immutable logs, event-driven systems, or event sourcing.
