About the Position
As a Technical Consultant within NIQ's Analytics & Merchandising team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients using NIQ's merchandising and space planning solutions. You will be responsible for solution implementation, technical delivery, system integration support, client training, and ongoing technical consulting.
This role combines client relationship management, technical troubleshooting, and data integration support to ensure successful deployment and operation of NIQ solutions across retail clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for assigned client accounts regarding solution implementation, support, and enhancement requests
- Develop strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing consultation on system utilization and optimization
- Conduct regular business reviews and maintenance visits with clients
- Deliver user training for new and existing client users
- Support implementation and configuration of NIQ merchandising solutions
- Troubleshoot software, system, and data-related issues raised by clients
- Perform solution testing and validation to ensure client requirements are met
- Support issue resolution and coordinate with regional and global teams when escalation is required
- Support data integration between NIQ solutions and client systems including ERP, POS, product master, and other business data sources
- Validate data quality and investigate data discrepancies across multiple systems
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to perform data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and reporting
- Assist clients in identifying and resolving system connectivity and data mapping issues
- Gather business and technical requirements from clients and communicate them to internal delivery teams
- Support post-sales implementation activities and project execution
- Collaborate closely with regional APAC technical and consulting teams
- Assist sales teams with proposals, solution demonstrations, and client presentations when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 2+ years of experience in Technical Support, Technical Consulting, Data Analysis, Business Systems, Solution Delivery, or related fields
- Strong Microsoft SQL skills, including data validation, joins, troubleshooting, and reporting
- Experience working with business systems and databases
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
- Experience communicating with external clients or stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
