Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking a Technical Consultant for our team in Plzeň, focusing on designing customer environments and providing technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement customer environments from analysis to installation and setup.
  • Handle customer requirements from start to finish, analyzing them and helping to find the best technical solutions.
  • Communicate with customers, as well as with colleagues from development, QA, and project management.
  • Provide customer support, solve technical issues, and train users.
  • Occasionally work nights if the project requires it, with prior agreement.
  • Occasionally travel to interesting locations as a bonus.

Requirements

  • Secondary school education in a technical direction with an IT focus, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in the IT field and a desire to advance.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows.
  • Familiarity with virtualization – at least practical knowledge of VMware and VirtualBox.
  • Analytical thinking and a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to explain technical matters clearly and enjoy communication.
  • Daily use of English, with knowledge of German being a significant plus.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with SQL, UML, or any programming language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies is welcome.
