About the Position
We are looking for a Technical Editor to join our team in Salzburg, Austria. You will be responsible for creating technical documentation for hardware and software products.
Responsibilities
- Creation of technical documentation for hardware and software products in close collaboration with internal specialist departments;
- Writing, structuring, and standardizing texts for translation;
- Research and maintenance of document inventory;
- Translation management;
- Terminology management;
- Creation of overviews and graphics.
Requirements
- Technical training (apprenticeship/technical college/university of applied sciences or similar);
- Training in the field of electronics/mechatronics is an advantage.
- Practical experience in technical documentation is desirable.
- Independent, structured, and precise working style;
- Enjoyment of writing;
- Good MS Office skills;
- Ability to describe technical content clearly and concisely for the user;
- Basic knowledge of language analysis and terminology work.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
