We are looking for a Technical Facility Engineer to join the largest regional data center company in the Netherlands, NorthC. With 13 data centers across the country, NorthC is committed to ensuring the continuity and operational efficiency of our data centers in Noord-Nederland.

Your Mission

In this role, you will be co-responsible for the continuity of our data centers. Together with the Technical Facility Manager, you will ensure that the data center remains operational by executing and monitoring the correct processes and procedures. Our data centers are equipped with costly "redundant" installations for the delivery of security, cooling, and electricity to ensure reliable service delivery to our clients.

The tasks are mostly maintenance-oriented, such as:

• (Light) construction work
• Cooling technical work (air/ cooling water/ chilled water)
• Electrical work (Main/ Emergency, UPS, power supplies, pumps)
• Measurement and control technology related to the above components (temp, pressure, RPM, etc.)

Due to the valuable client equipment, there is a very clean and controlled working environment within the data rooms, where operation and safety must remain guaranteed. Since major maintenance of subsystems is carried out by specialized companies, the role is primarily supervisory and controlling in nature. You must also be able to work well with external contractors.

Your Profile

You are someone who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and possess technical knowledge and experience in E & W installations. You are hands-on, able to independently solve, remedy, or repair issues, and you are innovative, flexible, able to think problem-solving, and are analytically inclined.

In addition, you have:

• MBO thinking and working level and preferably an Electro Technical background (minimum certified Stipel)
• Good command of Dutch and English languages
• Possession of a driver's license (B) and own transportation
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot during on-call service

It is a plus if you have certificates such as VCA (full) CDCP or CDCS (you do not have electronic implants due to working near large transformers and power generators).
