Are you a driven security professional who gets energized by strengthening the digital resilience of a growing organization? Do you want to play a key role in further professionalizing our security within the organization? You will work intensively with the CISO and ensure the quality and improvement of our security level.

Responsibilities

In this versatile role, you will support our CISO and be a crucial link in ensuring and improving our security level. Your tasks are broad and challenging, with a focus on strategic and technical security aspects:

• ISO27001 and Audits: You will manage and improve our ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will be responsible for the preparation and guidance of both internal and external audits, and you will continuously optimize our security controls. Additionally, you will take a leading role in the preparations for the ISAE3402 audit.
• Security Awareness and Support: You will actively contribute to raising security awareness within our organization. You will act as a sparring partner for our knowledge teams on all their security issues. Additionally, you will be the Product Owner for our internal security dashboard, which you will further develop in collaboration with the development team.
• Operational Security: You will be responsible for the maintenance and management of essential security tools, such as our anti-malware solution and the SIEM system. You will work closely with the sales department and provide them with security advice and input during commercial projects.
• Consultancy and Client Support: You will conduct security audits for our clients and prepare clear reports, for example, for school communities. You will facilitate the interactive security awareness game with client management teams. Additionally, you will support clients with various security-related issues and the implementation of ISO27001 controls, and help them prepare for the upcoming NIS2 regulations.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive and independent security professional with:

• Proven experience in a similar role within information security.
• Solid knowledge of ISO27001 and audit processes. Knowledge of ISAE3402 is a plus.
• Experience with security awareness programs and the ability to convey security concepts to various audiences.
• Familiarity with operational security aspects, such as anti-malware and SIEM systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise effectively both internally and externally.
• A client-oriented attitude and the ability to translate complex security issues into practical solutions.
• Affinity with the education sector is a plus.
• You hold relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or similar (is a plus).
• You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
