About the Position
We are looking for a Technical Lead (Fullstack.NET Engineer) to join our Capital Markets technology team and lead the development of modern analytics and trading applications. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise in.NET and React with technical leadership responsibilities, guiding the team in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
You will work on client-server applications, contributing across the full stack while driving architecture, ensuring delivery quality, and managing the technical direction of the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of.NET-based backend services and React frontend applications
- Define and drive technical architecture and design decisions across the system
- Break down requirements into technical tasks and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to support delivery
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team
- Ensure delivery of end-to-end features across backend, frontend, and integration layers
- Oversee code quality, performance, scalability, and security best practices
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs
- Mentor developers and contribute to team growth and engineering excellence
Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in software development with strong C# / .NET (.NET Core /.NET 6+) expertise
- Proven experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Lead role
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and enterprise application development
- Solid experience designing scalable architectures, RESTful APIs, and microservices
- Hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management, modern JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Strong understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and trade-offs
- Experience with containerization and deployment (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and performance optimization
- Experience creating and managing WBS, technical plans, and delivery tracking
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and enabling their adoption in teams
- Familiarity with Agentic SDLC concepts (AI-driven workflows, automated testing, code review, and delivery pipelines)
- Experience in capital markets systems (trading, risk, or analytics)
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, version control)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure ecosystem
- Experience with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Jest, Cypress)
- Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architecture patterns
- Experience with event-driven or real-time systems (SignalR, Kafka, messaging platforms)
