Role mission:

Special Operations is a direction focused on developing autonomy modules for complex combat tasks: deep strike, engagement of special targets, operations with non-standard requirements. The products of this direction are already used in real combat conditions and directly affect the battlefield.

You will lead an engineering team that designs autonomy modules for drones of various classes and brings them to combat use. Both the technical architecture of the solutions and the team’s ability to deliver them consistently will depend on you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers: priorities, workload, removing blockers
  • Shape the technical architecture of the direction’s products and make key engineering decisions
  • Be responsible for delivery: sprint planning, meeting deadlines, anticipating risks
  • Oversee validation: code review, testing, moving to combat trials
  • Develop the team - mentoring, feedback, engineering culture
  • Coordinate work with adjacent teams - CV/ML, Simulation, embedded, QA, field team, product - for consistent execution of the direction’s tasks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering (robotics, embedded systems or related fields)
  • 2+ years of technical leadership or team management
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python
  • Deep understanding of flight control systems, sensor technologies, ArduPilot / PX4 / Betaflight or other flight-control stacks

Nice to Have

  • Higher education in robotics, computer science, electronics or related fields
  • Experience developing for FPV or fixed-wing platforms
  • Knowledge of CV / ML for guidance and target recognition tasks
  • Experience working in field or combat conditions

We Offer

  • Work that makes a real impact. We create products that directly strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
  • Work with top engineers in MilTech and autonomy.
  • Official employment in Diia City.
  • Possibility of reserving military-obligated employees in accordance with current legislation.
  • Annual paid leave - 24 calendar days.
  • Veterans are entitled to additional paid leave - 14 calendar days.
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with the law.
  • Mandatory accident insurance for the duration of cooperation with the company from day 1.
  • Voluntary health insurance after completing the probation period.
  • Possibility of reimbursement of training expenses in accordance with the company’s internal policies.

We are looking not for executors, but for like-minded people who share our values and are ready to build the future of Ukrainian MilTech.
