Job Description

Workplace: Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, or remotely

Your Role:

• Create user manuals and knowledge base articles for our Microsoft-based software and solutions.
• Develop and translate (EN-PL/PL-EN) content for our official website and related services.
• Edit technical and marketing entries on CodeTwo websites and blogs about CodeTwo products, IT news, etc.
• Monitor social media, technical forums, and industry portals.
• Develop user interface texts for our programs.
• Edit customer communication content for CodeTwo.
• Ensure proofreading and quality control of texts created by other CodeTwo employees.
• Collaborate closely with the Development, Customer Support, and Technical Marketing departments.
• Besides writing, you will explore and learn about the environments and programs you write about (you need to enjoy "clicking around").

Requirements:

• Perfect command of the English language, especially in writing.
• Ability to plan and create logical structures and texts for user manuals and other technical explanations for end-users.
• Knowledge of English IT terminology.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position (technical writer, copywriter, etc.), involving writing technical texts (in the IT sector) in English.
• Practical knowledge of conversational English, for example, through English studies (English philology) or experience working abroad (English-speaking countries).
• Very good computer skills.

• Commitment and professional approach to work.
• Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows Server.
  • Experience in editing text using language models/AI (ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO principles.
