About the Position
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with strong Business Analysis skills to join our team in Madrid, Spain. This role combines TPM and BA responsibilities and involves working on a user-facing desktop application for a global leader in Innovative Orthodontics.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of a user-facing desktop application in an agile environment.
- Work alongside the development team and other PMs/TPMs of related projects.
- Cover both Technical Product Manager and Business Analyst responsibilities.
- Manage epics and user stories, including writing, decomposition, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.
- Translate business requirements into technical/software specifications.
- Manage stakeholders, including coordination of multiple stakeholders and dependent teams.
- Participate in agile delivery practices such as sprint planning, release planning, and tracking of risks and dependencies.
- Utilize strong time-management skills to prioritize tasks in real-time.
- Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Create functional and business requirement documents and specifications.
- Apply CusDev skills and understanding of UX/UI.
- Leverage diverse experience, preferably including consumer market companies.
- Maintain a proactive, agile-oriented approach.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT as a Business Analyst, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner, including combined BA/TPM responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience managing epics and user stories.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into technical/software specifications.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Experience with agile delivery practices.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Understanding of the SDLC.
- Skills in creating documents: functional/business requirements, specifications.
- CusDev skills.
- Understanding of UX/UI.
- Diverse experience (preferably including consumer market companies).
- Proactive approach, agile-oriented.
- English language proficiency at least C1 (Advanced).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience required.
Nice to Have
- Technical background sufficient to discuss architecture and implementation trade-offs with engineers.
- Experience in regulated environments (medical devices, IEC 62304 / ISO 13485) is a plus.
