Responsibilities
- Act as the central coordination layer between Product, Tech, and Quant Trading, establishing clear alignment and ensuring smooth execution of technical requests, dependencies, and deliveries.
- Translate Product, Commercial, and Trading requirements into actionable technical delivery plans, breaking down complex scope alongside Tech Leads.
- Own project timelines, proactively flag risks, and communicate transparently with stakeholders to maintain steady execution momentum across engineering.
- Serve as a strong counterpart to Product, asking the right questions, helping prioritize work effectively, and pushing back constructively when requests or timelines are unrealistic.
- Spot technical blockers and cross-team dependencies early, bringing the right engineers and teams together to resolve issues fast.
- Reduce organizational overhead for technical leadership, optimizing cross-team workflows, tracking delivery progress, and fostering clear ownership.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Technical Product Management, or a closely related role in a software or tech environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-team delivery with clarity and accountability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills – comfortable working across engineering, product, and commercial contexts.
- The confidence to say no, escalate early, and challenge timelines constructively.
- Enough technical literacy to understand software development complexity and spot unrealistic assumptions – you don't need to code, but you need to know what hard looks like.
- Proficiency in agile frameworks & tools (ideally Scrum & JIRA).
- A genuine drive to learn: our domain (energy markets, algorithmic trading, power systems) is complex, and you'll need to build fluency over time.
- Highly organized, structured, and calm under pressure.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Experience in the energy sector or a related technical domain is a significant advantage.
