Technical Program Manager, Robotics Solution Delivery

About the Position

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager, Robotics Solution Delivery to join Intrinsic, an AI robotics group at Google, in Mountain View, California. Our team is dedicated to reimagining the potential of industrial robotics through advances in AI, perception, and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of cutting-edge automation technology and robotic solutions to customers and partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver novel, cutting-edge automation technology and robotic solutions.
• Facilitate alignment on scope and timelines that capture needs while balancing feasibility, quality, and acceptable risk.
• Motivate by creating clarity on changes and manage delivery budgets.
• Represent your delivery in regular leadership updates and raise flags where leadership guidance is needed.

Requirements

• Experienced in applying best practice technical program/project management approaches.
• Strength in facilitating alignment of competing needs and constraints.
• Experienced in managing collaborative external projects from start to end.
• Concise and clear communicator, especially when working with external partners and customers.
• Expertise in navigating cultural nuances and building relationships internationally.
• Master of Science in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Experienced in robotic-automation specialized technical program/project management.
• Systems understanding of conventional robotics and automation systems.
• Familiarity with robotics technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, automated motion planning, reactive sensor control, their potential, limitations, and resulting project risks.
• Prior work in the machine tending automation space.
• Confident in German language (writing and speaking).

• Competitive salary between $163,200 - $223,040 (USD) + 15% bonus + equity + benefits.
