We are seeking a driving force for the future of digital television. As a Technical Project Manager (all genders) - DevOps in Hamburg, you will steer technologically demanding TV projects and take on the clear responsibility for leading and strategically steering our DevOps department. If you want to precisely structure complex infrastructure requirements, purposefully align DevOps teams, and successfully drive modern deployment processes, you are exactly right with us.
Responsibilities
- Interface Competence & Steering: You will lead technologically demanding DevOps projects in the TV environment and coordinate your internal team as well as external service providers and technology partners for a smooth and timely implementation.
- DevOps Responsibility: You bring conceptual DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Container/Kubernetes, Observability) to discuss with the team and the customer without needing to implement yourself.
- Communication Hub: You act as a sovereign intermediary between our customers, the internal IT infrastructure, and external partners, always keeping an overview even in critical project phases and making clear decisions.
- Collaboration & Roadmapping: Together with the customer, you develop the product roadmap. You strategically consider major events to position our brands' digital presence in a targeted manner.
- Budget & Controlling: You are responsible for and proactively manage project budgets, keep an eye on contractual frameworks, and address risks and challenges.
Requirements
- Proven Project Experience: You have several years of in-depth professional experience in managing technically complex digital projects, ideally in the DevOps/operations environment.
- Technical Understanding & DevOps Affinity: You bring a strong understanding of software and web development (backend, frontend, mobile) and have a pronounced affinity for modern DevOps concepts (such as CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructures, and automation).
- System & Integration Skills: You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing, established system landscapes and transition them into stable and future-proof new, modern DevOps processes.
- Agile Mindset: You are confident in agile methods (Scrum/Kanban), backlog and risk management, and data-driven reporting.
- Communication Skills: You communicate proficiently in German and fluently in English to successfully navigate our global JAKALA network.
- Nice to Have: ITIL Certification, PM Certification (PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum), and GCP Experience.
We Offer
- Work Model: Hybrid from our offices in Hamburg, Berlin, or Vienna, or Full Remote within Germany.
- Responsibility and Scope for Design: In the context of an international company.
- Support for Your Mobility (Deutschlandticket), Health (Urban Sports Club), and Sustainable Work Practices (Bike Leasing).
- Regular Team Formats: Such as shared breakfast/lunch, where exchange and cooperation are central.
- If you wish: Join our Hamburg band (Drummer wanted).
