Technical Project Manager

LETEC is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the implementation of technical aspects of its ticketing system renewal program.

Duration: 16 months

Location: Namur, Belgium

Start Date: 17/08/2026

End Date: 31/12/2027

Context

In the framework of the renewal of its ticketing systems, LETEC is looking to collaborate with a Technical Project Manager to coordinate the implementation of the "Technical" subjects of the program. The mission covers the following three projects:

• Installation of new ticketing equipment (validators, sales terminals, control portables, etc.)
• Decommissioning and recycling of existing equipment
• Implementation and monitoring of the hardware maintenance system

The role will play a key integration role between business teams, technical teams, regional Business Units, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

Installation of Equipment

• Define strategies and deployment plans
• Define and validate installation plans for all types of LETEC vehicles and leasing companies
• Coordinate installations on vehicles and infrastructure
• Verify the quality of installations
• Monitor testing platforms and laboratories
• Organize pilots and progressive deployments
• Coordinate interventions with regional operators
• Monitor schedules and dependencies with other program projects

Decommissioning & Recycling

• Prepare the decommissioning specifications
• Coordinate dismantling operations
• Monitor the storage, valorization, or recycling of equipment
• Monitor urban restoration of impacted infrastructures
• Coordinate with technical services and the engineering office

Hardware Maintenance

• Define maintenance processes
• Implement spare parts management
• Monitor maintenance contracts
• Monitor SLAs established in the market
• Coordinate corrective and preventive interventions
• Manage availability indicators

Financial and Contractual Management

• Ensure compliance with the financial scope of sub-projects
• Analyze additional order requests from suppliers
• Challenge their technical justification
• Validate or refuse requests in collaboration with the program manager
• Verify quantities actually executed before invoicing
• Ensure consistency between services performed and amounts invoiced
• Contribute to maintaining the overall program budget at a constant financial scope
• Prepare financial reporting and budget monitoring elements

Stakeholder Management

• Lead a cross-functional project team composed of:
  • Experts from LETEC's Cross-Functional Directorate
  • Representatives from the five regional Business Units
  • Operations teams
  • Maintenance teams
  • Infrastructure teams
  • External suppliers
• Ensure coordination of work
• Organize work workshops
• Align stakeholders
• Manage risks and arbitrations
• Communicate regularly with the program governance

Field Presence

The position requires significant on-site presence and frequent travel throughout the Walloon region. You will be regularly required to:

• Visit LETEC depots
• Monitor installation and decommissioning operations
• Control the quality of interventions
• Accompany BU teams
• Identify operational issues
• Ensure the security of commissioning
