About the Position
Technical Project Manager - Heavy Industry (f/m/x)
We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the implementation of investments and modernizations conducted at an operational steel plant in Krakow. Projects are carried out in the areas of the hot rolling mill, cold rolling mill, and power plant. This role is for someone who thrives in an industrial environment and can effectively coordinate the activities of many stakeholders while ensuring safety, budget, and schedule of the implemented investments.
The role involves fully on-site work in Krakow.

Responsibilities
- Comprehensive management of investment and modernization projects carried out within an operational industrial plant
- Coordinating contractors' work and collaboration with teams involved in project execution
- Monitoring work progress, schedule, and project budget
- Identifying project risks and initiating actions to minimize their impact on investment implementation
- Resolving ongoing technical and organizational issues arising during project execution
- Preparing reports, notes, and presentations regarding project status
- Participating in project meetings and steering committees, including those conducted in English
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy industry environment
- Technical education in engineering
- Experience working with industrial facilities and installations such as natural gas, electric power, industrial water, and water-sewage infrastructure
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Ability to read technical documentation and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Very good command of English - B2
- Fluent command of Polish
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of SAP
