Technical Project Manager

About the Position

As a Technical Project Manager within Product Development at Betsson, you will lead tactical and strategic projects supporting our overall long-term technology transformation. Your role will involve supporting the organization, primarily the tech departments, by running projects that align with business requirements. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of the projects you manage, ensuring they run on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Reporting and escalating to management as needed
• Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Executing projects by providing/maintaining visibility for requirements, scope, objectives, deliverables, financial impact, and resourcing
• Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks
• Monitoring and reporting project progress
• Applying excellent communication skills and practical knowledge to help teams work closely together
• Facilitating effective team meetings: kick-offs, regular status updates, weekly catchups
• Uncovering and removing roadblocks that prevent the various teams from achieving their shared project goals

Requirements

• Ability to drive through ambiguous and complex situations
• Knowledge in using Project Management Tools such as Microsoft Project & JIRA
• Solid IT technical background
• A recognized certification in project management such as Prince or Sigma would be a big plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong people management skills
• Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals
