Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of customer installations from initial setup through successful operation
- Support the implementation and commissioning of sophisticated automated equipment and integrated technology solutions
- Act as a technical contact for customers and provide hands-on support when complex issues arise
- Analyse system performance, identify technical root causes, and coordinate sustainable solutions
- Work across mechanical, electrical, and software-related topics in a highly automated environment
- Collaborate closely with international engineering and product teams to resolve technical challenges and continuously improve existing solutions
- Support customers in the effective use of installed systems through technical guidance and training
- Coordinate technical requirements between customers, internal specialists, and international stakeholders
- Contribute to integration projects and the implementation of new technologies at customer sites
- Document technical issues, solutions, and improvement opportunities in a structured manner
Requirements
- Degree in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, software engineering, or another relevant technical discipline
- Professional experience in a technical customer-facing position, such as field service, technical support, application engineering, commissioning, or systems engineering
- Strong understanding of complex automated equipment and the interaction between hardware and software
- Confident troubleshooting skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Experience with programming, system interfaces, or software-based technical environments is advantageous
- Comfortable working independently in an international and fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality
- Very good English skills are essential
- Chinese language skills are highly advantageous
- Willingness to travel and support customers on site
