About the Position
Technical Service Technician
Location: Senai, Johor, Malaysia
Salary: 2300 - 4200 MYR per month
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Service Technician to join our team in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. The role involves providing technical support by carrying out training, demos, tests, and preparing samples as required by the commercial sales team.
Responsibilities
-
Support Technical Service Manager / Engineers / Executive and Target Market Managers on Technical Matters
- Preparing samples and demo kits
- Assisting with product training, demos, tests at site with applicators / contractors

Product Samples and Packaging
- Ensuring that all product samples are properly prepared as requested by the Target Market Managers, Regional Managers, and Sales Managers or Sales Executives

TSD Working Space
- Arranging all tools and materials
- Ensuring that signs / labels are properly displayed at workstation
- Removing all old and unused materials
- Ensuring that TSD working area is clean, tidy, and a safe working environment

Equipment
- Ensuring TSD all equipment is maintained in clean and good condition and is calibrated
- Recording and labeling all equipment and ensuring all equipment taken out of the factory is returned in good condition

Safety
- Ensuring EHS compliance as per Sika policy and EHS minimum requirements
- Reporting any hazards immediately to superior or EHS personnel
- Complying to Sika Life Saving Rule
- Participating in EHS related training

Others
- Any other tasks assigned from time to time

Security
- Maintaining Sika information with appropriate secrecy and adhering to policies regarding confidential information

Limitations of Authority
- No purchase of equipment and / or materials without approval from HOD, GM & MoA

Qualifications

Education
- SPM or equivalent, or
- Certificate of Competency from local public or private higher institute of learning

- Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia & English
