Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support our sales teams and customers in defining optimized technical solutions for HVAC, and Data Center applications. The position is based near Lyon, France, and is intended for a technically minded professional who would like to develop in an international, demanding and customer-oriented environment.

Main Mission

The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical assistance to sales teams, consultants and customers, particularly in the field of equipment and systems for Data Center applications. The role will contribute to identifying and proposing solutions that meet customer needs while taking into account technical, energy-efficiency and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer technical requirements and propose optimized solutions.
Support sales engineers and consultants in preparing technical offers.
Use simulation and selection tools to size and define the most appropriate solutions.
Quickly develop a strong understanding of the product portfolio and related applications.
Work closely with a team of technical experts.
Contribute to high-quality technical exchanges with mainly European customers.

Required Profile

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, ideally with a specialization in mechanical engineering, energy, HVAC, refrigeration or air conditioning.
Initial experience in a technical, industrial or energy-related environment would be an advantage.
Ability to learn quickly and become familiar with products, technical tools and internal methods.
Technical English proficiency is required, both written and spoken.
Strong communication skills, customer focus and ability to work with several stakeholders in parallel.

Technical Skills

Good understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, air conditioning or energy systems.
Ability to use technical selection, sizing or simulation tools.
Capacity to analyze technical data and translate customer needs into relevant solution proposals.
Knowledge of Data Center cooling applications would be an advantage.
Technical English proficiency is required for customer communication, documentation and internal exchanges.

Compensation

Annual Salary: €43,000.00 - €86,000.00

Factors Influencing Compensation: Skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the selected candidate.
