Technical Support Specialist II

About the Position

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist II to join our team in Osaka, Japan. This role involves providing technical support and maintenance for dental equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for dental equipment.
• Explain products, provide quotations, and negotiate prices with customers.
• Handle products such as dental treatment tables, CAD/CAM/CT equipment, sterilizers, etc.
• Connect to other companies' products in the network of in-hospital LAN devices and systems.
• Perform technical services including product installation and repair at the customer's site.
• Conduct periodic inspection visits of products.
• Communicate appropriately both externally and internally.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to analyze repairs of instruments and equipment and identify factors.
• Interest in machines.
• Dexterity and attention to detail to replace and adjust parts.
• Good manners and appropriate attire.
• Ability to operate the company's internal system (Sales Force) without problems.
• Driving license (not a paper driver).

Nice to Have

• Experience in IT equipment maintenance or knowledge of PC troubleshooting.
• Experience assembling PCs.
• Experience creating websites, distributing videos, or editing videos.
• Technical experience in maintenance and service of dental imaging equipment, general medical imaging equipment (hardware/software).
• Qualifications as a medical equipment engineer (X-ray operator, responsible technician for repair of medical equipment, class 1, 3, 7 qualifications).
• Qualifications in IT (IT Passport, Basic Information Processing Engineer, etc.).
• Able to read and write emails in English.
• Experience working as a field engineer (regardless of industry).
• Knowledge of fluids such as air, water, etc., and work experience.
