Technical System Analyst: Hybrid – 2 days/week at the office
About the Team
We are a diverse, close-knit team of developers and analysts who enjoy building applications, tackling technical challenges, exploring new ideas, and occasionally escaping for a hike.
We combine curiosity and creativity with a pragmatic approach to delivering high-quality solutions. We value collaboration, open communication, continuous learning, and a friendly working environment where everyone can contribute and grow.
Responsibilities
As a Technical System Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and helping deliver reliable, well-integrated software solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze, clarify, and challenge business requirements to identify the best technical solutions.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze API-based architectures and understand how applications and systems communicate with each other.
- Document API integrations, system interactions, data flows, and dependencies between applications.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and solution architects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in solution design, technical discussions, workshops, and Agile ceremonies.
- Assess technical feasibility, identify risks and dependencies, and contribute to impact analysis across existing systems.
- Support testing activities by clarifying requirements, validating expected behavior, and performing sanity checks when needed.
- Contribute to production support and post-implementation analysis, helping identify the impact and root cause of issues.
- Estimate analysis effort and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes.
- Take ownership throughout the entire application lifecycle, from initial discovery and design to implementation, production support, and maintenance.

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in technology-related roles, ideally involving software development, technical analysis, QA, or system integration.
- Experience working with applications built from scratch or significantly developed and enhanced over time.
- Good understanding of API-based architectures, REST/SOAP APIs, and system-to-system communication.
- Ability to understand integration flows, identify dependencies, and document how different systems interact.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with API testing and exploration tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Basic SQL and database knowledge, preferably with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of software testing principles and the ability to validate application behavior.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and abstract-thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Advanced English skills.
- A proactive, delivery-oriented mindset and willingness to learn.
We are also open to technical QA engineers and testers who have solid experience with APIs, integrations, and system behavior and are interested in transitioning into a Technical Business Analyst role.
