Technical Systems Consultant Rail / Train IT (all gender)

Responsibilities
- You will work closely with our clients and take on a central role in the development, integration, and securing of complex technical systems in the Rail / Train IT sector.
- You will support clients throughout the entire system lifecycle – from the concept phase through architecture & development to testing, commissioning, and optimization.
- You will bring your expertise in system testing, integration, and communication technologies and ensure high quality and reliability of the solutions.
- You will create and review technical specifications, requirements, and test concepts, and ensure their traceability.
- You will coordinate and accompany testing and integration activities in close cooperation with development, architecture, project management, and clients.
- You will work on the further development of system architectures, test strategies, and technical processes.
- You will assist in error analysis, troubleshooting, and the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Requirements
- You have a completed technical education (HTL/TU/FH) in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, communication technology, or similar.
- You have initial or several years of experience in one or more areas: system testing, system integration, software/system development, or technical project work.
- You have a good understanding of complex technical systems, ideally in the rail, automotive, aerospace, or industrial environment.
- You have knowledge of IT and communication systems (e.g., networks, protocols, distributed systems).
- You have ideally experience with relevant standards and norms (e.g., EN 5012x-Serie, EN 50657, IEC 62443 or comparable).
- You work structured, independently, and solution-oriented, and you are confident in dealing with clients.
- You have experience with technical tools (e.g., requirements engineering, testing, documentation) is advantageous.
- You speak good German and good English.
Salary starting from 3800,-- € gross per month based on 38.5 h/week with the express willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
