About the Position
Technical Trainer (all genders)
meteocontrol GmbH, a leading developer of independent energy management systems, is seeking a Technical Trainer to join our team in Augsburg, Germany. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Conception & Revision of Training Materials: Develop and review training materials for hard and software in areas such as in-person training, online training, and e-learning, adhering to didactic principles.
- Independent Scheduling, Preparation, Execution, and Follow-up of Training: Organize, prepare, conduct, and follow up on training sessions for clients and internal staff at our locations, at client sites, or online.
- Utilization and Expansion of Modern Learning Methods: Implement and enhance modern learning techniques.
- Collaboration with Other Departments and External Companies: Work across departments and with external partners.
- Continuous Professional Development: Expand your training skills through ongoing training and workshops.
- Participation in Regular Meetings/Workshops: Align on global training topics.
- Support for the Global Trainer Network: Contribute through knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Trainer für erklärungsbedürftige technische Hard- und Softwareprodukte (Präsenz- und Online-Schulungen): Several years of experience as a trainer for technical hard and software products (in-person and online training).
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Präsentationskompetenz: Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Trainings für Hardware-Produkte (Datenlogger, Regler für Energieerzeugungsanlagen), sowie für cloudbasierte SaaS-Software: Experience in creating training materials for hardware products (data loggers, controllers for energy generation systems) and cloud-based SaaS software.
- Erfahrung in der Erstellung von zielgruppenorientierten E-Learnings bzw. kurzen Schulungsvideos: Experience in creating target audience-oriented e-learnings or short training videos.
- Erfahrung in der Bedienung von gängigen Tools, die zur Erstellung von E-Learnings bzw. Schulungsvideos notwendig sind: Experience with common tools required for creating e-learnings or training videos.
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit einem Learning-Management-System (LMS) vorteilhaft: Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is advantageous.
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Erneuerbare Energien sowie elektrotechnische Grundlagen wünschenswert: Knowledge in renewable energy and electrotechnical basics is desirable.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere Fremdsprachen von Vorteil: Very good German and English skills, additional languages are a plus.
- Reisebereitschaft (ca. 30%) im Inland sowie innerhalb Europas: Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) domestically and within Europe.
- Führerschein Klasse B: Class B driver's license.
