About the Position

Veolia, a global leader in environmental services, is seeking a Technicien de maintenance industrielle F/H for its Energy Valorization Unit (UVE) in Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche, France. The UVE treats up to 72,000 tons of household waste annually, converting it into energy through an incineration process. The energy produced is utilized in industrial and urban heat networks and as electricity.

The site is currently equipped with three furnaces, each capable of processing 3.5 tons of waste per hour. It is set to be fully modernized with a new unit featuring a single furnace capable of processing 10 tons per hour, equipped with the latest technologies to enhance energy production while improving its environmental footprint.

Responsibilities

Rigorously execute maintenance plans
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance work
Monitor and organize maintenance projects across all technical domains
Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot installations
Analyze recurring faults, propose improvements
Ensure equipment or machinery is properly secured before intervention
Report any anomalies promptly
Monitor the completion of periodic checks
Address non-conformities from periodic check reports
Propose improvements to intervention procedures and installation modifications
Organize projects, request quotes, and follow up with suppliers and external companies
Supervise and organize the work of external companies, ensuring timely intervention
Track the supply deadlines for necessary parts
Update and monitor the GMAO
Maintain communication with operations staff for smooth process operation

Requirements

BTS MS / MEI
2 years of experience in a similar role
Skills in mechanics, electricity, and instrumentation
Proficiency in office software and GMAO
