About the Position

Join Belgoprocess as a Technieker (PLC & meet en regel technieken) for a challenging role in a sustainable environment. We are looking for a hands-on and solution-oriented professional to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our installations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and follow up on complex technical and maintenance tasks.
• Execute part projects within your field of expertise.
• Manage large maintenance tasks.
• Keep maintenance data up-to-date.
• Detect, analyze, address, and resolve issues and malfunctions in your field.
• Interpret and register malfunctions or alarms.
• Analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Perform administrative tasks related to your field of expertise.
• Register and update data in the management system and logbooks.
• Create layout sketches, P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and complex process controls.
• Provide input for filling out VGWs.
• Provide technical instructions and guide internal and external staff on the use of installations.
• Conduct training sessions for colleagues on changes to installations.
• Provide technical and operational instructions to internal and external staff.
• Follow up on work activities.
• Execute design tasks and functional analysis, up to commissioning, using specialized programming and design software.
• Translate functional analysis into technical analysis.
• Design controls, make adjustments to installations, and select necessary materials and parts.
• Participate in internal/external project groups and periodic project meetings.
• Program necessary interfaces for linking process installations with the company network.
• Set up and manage the automation network.
• Establish connections with the company network.

Requirements

• Dutch: Native or bilingual proficiency
• Skills:
  • Automatisering en netwerkbeheer: Advanced
  • Technische documentatie: Advanced
  • Technisch ontwerp en programmering: Advanced
  • Onderhoud en probleemoplossing: Advanced
  • Opleiding en begeleiding: Intermediate
  • Projectmanagement: Intermediate

Profile

You are a hands-on maintenance technician with expertise in PLC (Siemens) and measurement and control techniques. You are responsible for analyzing and solving issues within automation and instrumentation, and making adjustments to small to medium-sized controls.

You work in a day shift and are flexible based on workplace priorities.

Additionally, you have:

• A bachelor's or graduate degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
• Several years of relevant experience in a similar role (middle level)
• Knowledge of PLC (Siemens) and SCADA systems
• A hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• Awareness of the regulated environment you will be working in
