Your Responsibilities

For our subsidiary, the STG Infrastruktur GmbH, which builds FFTX fiber optic infrastructures as a general contractor, we are looking for a Technician for Fiber Optic/Telecommunication Networks (m/w/d) for the Bochum location for the following tasks:

• You will carry out installation work in modern fiber optic networks – including fiber optic splicing, indoor cable installation (NE4) and OTDR measurements
• You will take over blowing and cable pulling activities of fiber optic and electrical cables in the NE3 area
• You will work on telecommunications and energy networks and also carry out electrical work
• You will install lines, test them and troubleshoot any faults
• You will document all work carried out meticulously
• You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the construction site

Your Skills

• You have completed vocational training in the field of electrical or information technology
• You ideally bring several years of experience in the installation or service of fiber optic networks or electrical systems
• You work reliably, in a team-oriented and independent manner
• You hold a driver's license class B – C/CE is an advantage
• You are eager for further development – professionally and personally
