About the Position

SOLUTIONS 30, a leading company in the Telecommunications sector, is seeking a Hardware PC and Printers Technician for their team in Settala, Italy. This is a full-time role with a 6-month contract.

Start Date: September 2026

The selected candidate will be hired with an initial fixed-term contract, under the TLC Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL TLC). The indicative annual gross salary range is €21,000 - €24,000, subject to evaluation based on skills and experience.

This announcement is open to candidates of both sexes (L. 903/77) and complies with D.Lgs. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments.

Responsibilities

The technician will ensure the proper functioning of workstations, peripherals, and company printing systems, performing installation, maintenance, configuration, and technical hardware support activities.

Specifically, the technician will be responsible for:

• Diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of desktop PCs, notebooks, company servers, computer peripherals, and printing systems;

• Routine and extraordinary maintenance of laser, multifunction, and inkjet printers, including the replacement of wear components (maintenance kits, rollers, fusers, print heads, etc.);

• Assembly, installation, and configuration of workstations, Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems, drivers, and application software;

• Configuration of PC and printer network connectivity (IP addressing, Wi-Fi, network shares, and print services);

• Management of technical support activities through a ticketing system, documenting the interventions performed;

• Support in managing the spare parts warehouse and IT equipment;

• Technical support to users, ensuring intervention times and service quality in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Diploma in computer science, electronics, or equivalent;

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of PC hardware and/or multifunction printers;

• Knowledge of the main hardware components (motherboards, CPUs, RAM, SSD/HDD, power supplies, and peripherals);

• Knowledge of the main printer brands (HP, Canon, Xerox, Kyocera, Brother, or equivalent) and their operating logics;

• Basic knowledge of computer networks and main TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS protocols;

• Good familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems;

• Knowledge of Linux and macOS is a plus.
