About the Position

SGS, a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification, is seeking a Técnico Inspetor (Regime Freelancer) for its Oil, Gas & Chemicals team in Sines, Setúbal, Portugal. This role offers dynamic professionals the opportunity to join a challenging and evolving operational activity. Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative (sampling) and quantitative (measurements) control in transfer operations between facilities;
• Conduct inspections of loading and unloading of petrochemical products in ships and containers;
• Supervise fuel supply operations to ships;
• Provide logistics and supervision services in port terminals;
• Execute support and supervision services at fuel stations;
• Ensure compliance with technical procedures, quality requirements, and applicable safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum education level of 12th grade;
• Experience in similar roles (preferred);
• Good knowledge of computer tools;
• Intermediate knowledge of English;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• High sense of responsibility and autonomy;
• Proactivity and problem-solving orientation;
• Resilience and adaptability;
• Immediate or short-term availability;
• Flexibility in working hours.
